A customer brought in a diamond five stone ring, with only four diamonds left! Her choice was to decide to get a replacement diamond set in a ring she was not particularly fond of, or design a new ring she would wear and enjoy. She chose the latter, and the result was very sparkly!!
From Mother, with Love.
This ring has been made up for a lovely customer using old scrap gold she inherited from her mother after she sadly passed away. She wanted something she could put on and leave, that would be suitable for her to work in but wasn’t boring! Now she can keep a little bit of her Mum close always.
Greyhound Jewellery Anyone?
A lovely couple asked us to make a ring for them in the shape of their gorgeous greyhound, Ralph. They had seen the horse ring we made for another customer and loved the idea of Ralph sitting proud on her finger, happily they loved him!
Mad March Hare!
Continuing the animal theme, I made this simple silver hare necklace for someone recently and engraved on the back a nice message for the recipient.
This Little Piggy Went Home!
Ta Dah!! Here she is, all finished. We used a cold casting technique that enabled the pig to have all the detail of the original model, we think she’s turned out beautifully don’t you?
This Little Piggy
This is an unusual one! A customer requested we find her a silver pig, but everything we showed her just wasn’t how she wanted it. She found a little toy one that was perfect so we cast up that piggy using some silver spoons she had, and …… wait for it!!
Animal Magic!
It continues to be busy in the workshop, with the emphasis on animals at the moment. This is a memorial ring to a beautiful horse called Arnie made in 18ct white gold with a diamond star he’s jumping over!
No Snow Day!
It may be a “snow day” for many, but I’m still here!! Jackey L Jewellers is open as normal, 9am-5pm daily. I may be hovering over the heater, but I’m open for business!
Spring?
We have two lovely sterling silver hares in stock at the moment, one stargazing and this lovely little chap racing along! Hopefully he is racing towards spring!!!
Proper Whopper!
This huge stone was bought by a lovely lady in a flea market in Amsterdam, and she brought it to us to make it into a pendant for her. The result is definitely a showstopper!
